FaZe在刚刚结束的上海Major决赛中以1-2的比分不敌Spirit，也成为历史上唯一一支在同一年都打进Major决赛，但均输掉决赛的队伍。

FaZe在今年年初的哥本哈根Major中亦闯入了决赛，但是在那场比赛中他们不敌Natus Vincere，屈居亚军。本次卷土重来，但Finn Andersen | karrigan和他的伙伴们依旧未能如愿，倒在Spirit的枪下，一年内均闯入决赛，但都无缘冠军。

Ninjas in Pyjamas曾在2014年三进决赛，分别拿到了EMS One卡托维兹和DreamHack延雪平的亚军，但是他们把握住了年中科隆的机会，获得冠军。
